Messing with Tread combines black marble sand and Becker sand, as Carbonell’s unique and experimental stance on an office table is moulded and shaped like a piece of land. Creating a drawing with thread and scratches, the table’s top is rough to the touch, whilst the metal mesh and welded rods of the table legs give movement to the piece.
